An Image Copyright Authentication Model Based on Blockchain and Digital Watermark

摘要

To solve the problems of digital image leakage and tampering as well as the low imperceptibility of watermarking algorithms in the traditional digital image copyright authentication process, we propose a model that combines digital watermarking, blockchain, and the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). This model builds an IPFS and blockchain-distributed storage architecture and combines encryption technology to prevent digital images from being leaked and tampered with. Using the immutability of IPFS, we design a watermarking algorithm with high imperceptibility. Our experiments show that the proposed digital image copyright authentication model can effectively prevent digital images from being leaked and tampered with; the mean values of peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and structural similarity (SSIM) of the proposed watermarking algorithm are 65.607(dB) and 0.999, respectively.
