Current Situation and Prospect of Disclosure of Health Knowledge Information

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party and the government have attached unprecedented importance to the health of the whole people, and government departments have become the main force in promoting the national health movement. Disclosure of health knowledge information, which has the function of popularizing health knowledge and raising health literacy, is of particular importance to improving the health of the whole people. In order to conduct an in-depth study of the current situation of the popularization of health knowledge by municipal-level government departments in China, this report takes 49 governments of larger cities as the objects of investigation, analyzes the current situation of and the existing problems in the disclosure of health knowledge information, as well as their deep-seated causes, in each city, with the relevant data obtained from the portal websites and official WeChat accounts of the health commissions of these cities as well as other online platforms, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures suggestions.
