摘要

Mineral resources for socio-economic development are a matter of great concern when implementing a large project. Currently, coastal constructions, breakwaters constructed by dredging and replacing foundation pit sand account for a very large volume sand and stone, but these are very scarce and increase the cost of the project. Therefore, using a locally available source of materials meeting the project's technical requirements needs to be taken into account when formulating a project. In particular, it’s necessary to have enough scientific basis by experiment and actual test—the objective of the research team. The results show that the sea sand material source at Dinh An estuary meets the parameters of particle composition, density, internal friction angle (ϕ) for the project of the southern breakwater, the channel route for large ships enters the Hau River in Tra Vinh province, Vietnam. This is a resource that needs to be protected and rationally used, and research on backfill materials for highways in the near future.
