The Use of Innovative Geocomposite Drainage System—Draintube to Achieve Optimal Drainage Efficiency at Pantai Nyanyi, Bali, Indonesia

This paper surveys the innovation of Draintube installation at a beach club project at Pantai Nyanyi, Bali, Indonesia. The location is prone to heavy rain and waterlogging. Hence, it required an extensive and sustainable drainage solution. The Draintube system’s strategically placed mini-pipes beneath the surface of the grandstand area collect and redirect water away from the property, achieving optimal drainage efficiency and storm water runoff to eliminate waterlogging. Geoquest Pte. Ltd.’s multi-linear geocomposite drainage system overcame the challenge of a fine soil, beachfront terrain to create a modern, eco-friendly solution.
