摘要

Steel slag, a byproduct of steel production in Japan, is being utilized for various applications, including road and concrete materials. This study tested the use of steel slag mixed soil for infrastructure development. This blend is expected to enhance soil strength and reduce the release of harmful substances. Various tests were used to evaluate the quality of the reclaimed ground post-construction. These tests measured S-wave velocity distribution, time history, and tip resistance. Findings indicated the strength characteristics of the reclaimed ground and its development over time. They also suggested that S-waves could be useful in future applications. Correlations between unconfined compression strength and other parameters were adequate for estimating field strength.
