Investigation of the Effects of Seepage from Excavation Pit on Surrounding Environment and Numerical Simulation Study
摘要
With the continuous development of urban underground space, the construction scale of deep foundation pits has become increasingly large, and the surrounding building environment has become more complex. How to control the adverse effects of foundation pit construction on the surrounding environment has always been a key issue in the field of deep foundation pit engineering research. In areas with abundant groundwater, certain measures are generally taken to reduce water levels before excavation to prevent infiltration damage and improve the construction environment. The increase in effective stress of soil and the greater seepage water pressure during the foundation pit dewatering process can cause soil consolidation, thereby exacerbating surface settlement deformation around the excavation. This paper focuses on the characteristics of a comprehensive hub deep foundation pit project in Dongtai City and establishes a numerical model based on the method of non-dewatering excavation both inside and outside the pit, to investigate the effects of non-dewatering layered excavation and groundwater seepage on the deformation of the foundation pit and the surrounding environment. The control effects and influencing factors of different control measures on pore water pressure inside and outside the foundation pit, soil uplift deformation, and surrounding surface settlement are analyzed.
