In-Situ Full Scale Horizontal Load Test on Soil–Cement Composite Pile

摘要

Pile construction in narrow urban spaces and for existing structures to strengthen the seismic resistance is subjected to constraints on the construction site and process. Therefore, a method for soil–cement composite pile construction was developed that uses a compact mechanical agitator for foundation piles of lightweight structures. In this study, in situ full-scale horizontal load tests were carried out on the developed soil–cement composite pile that was constructed with the e-column construction method which were carried out to evaluate the horizontal resistance. Furthermore, it was evaluated the performance of horizontal resistance of the soil–cement composite pile which was evaluated and compared with the evaluation method specified in the design specifications in Japan.
