摘要

The article discusses the practice of carrying out surveys on construction sites, specifically with a focus on engineering and geological elements in dispersed soils. Identifying elements based on plasticity and standard indicators of strength and deformation can lead to unpredictable consequences as they do not carry genetic information. For alluvial technogenic tails, which act as building materials, it is necessary to study their composition, structure, and properties in laboratory conditions to ensure the required stability of enclosing dams. The article presents the results of studies carried out on tailing dumps located in Russia, including microstructural calculations and chemical analyses. These findings establish parameters and improve the process of studying technogenic tailings.
