Coupled Thermal–Hydraulic–Mechanical Fluid Simulation—An Innovative Tool for the Design of Grouting in Soils
摘要
The success of a grouting operation depends on many factors. These include correct analysis of the problem and selection of the most effective grouting material and the appropriate grouting method, which ultimately lead to the production of the grouted body in the correct location and to the correct extent. Many grouting measures are essentially planned and executed using many years of empirical experience. The empirical approaches mostly do not have an in-depth theoretical background and therefore do not provide reproducible algorithms, which in turn could serve for a reliable prognosis in the context of planning and development of grouting measures and methods. What has not existed to date is a prognosis and design method for these special foundation engineering works, which then provides the basis for engineering analysis.
