摘要

Japan and Indonesia are traversed by the Ring of Fire, making it easy to find pumice fall deposits in both countries. Pumice is lightweight and crushable because it has voids due to its formation process, making it often responsible for landslides and liquefaction during an earthquake. In this study, an analysis of the crushable pumice properties was carried out using a single-particle strength test. The test data gradually increased from 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105, 120, and 135 samples. The results of single-particle strength are processed using frequentist and Bayesian hierarchical inference models to estimate Weibull parameters. Finally, the influence of the amount of data will be observed on the Weibull parameter using different inference models.
