A Study on the Shear Strength Characteristics of Granite-Weathered Soil Using a Ring Shear Apparatus
摘要
Due to global warming and climate change, the frequency of typhoons and heavy rainfall is increasing, resulting in various slope failures. Therefore, the ring shear tests were conducted to clarify the shear characteristics according to the fine content of granite-weathered soil in this study for the slope stability analyses of debris flows. Results showed that the shear strength decreased linearly with increasing saturation. Furthermore, under low normal stress conditions, the shear strength increased with an increase in fine content, while under high normal stress conditions, the shear strength exhibited a decreasing trend as the fine content increased.
