摘要

This study aims to investigate the influence of plant root reinforcement on slope stability under conditions of heavy rainfall. This analysis is conducted using numerical simulation methods. In the simulation experiment, rainfall intensity was set at 4 mm/hour for 6 days to simulate a rainstorm. Multiple data were analyzed after six days of heavy rainfall for both reinforced and normal slopes. On the sixth day, vegetation reinforcement reduced maximum displacement by 22%, pressure at the slope angle by 7.1%, and stress by 10.8% compared to the unreinforced model. In summary, this study highlights the enhanced slope stability achieved with black ryegrass root reinforcement. By comparing plant root reinforcement differences, this study unveils the crucial role of plant roots in slope stabilization, offering technical support and theoretical guidance for engineering applications via numerical simulations.
