Management of Femoral Neck and Per-Trochanteric Fractures Including New Technology
摘要
Neck of femur fracture and trochanteric fractures are the most frequent and typical major injuries in fragility fracture patients. The goal of treatment is to allow early mobilization and weight bearing as tolerated to reduce the risk of complications associated with immobility. New technologies such as cement augmentation may help to reduce the likelihood of mechanical complications in osteoporotic bones.
