Introduction

These comments exemplify travels of Indian Caste Structure in different parts of the world and resonate with my personal experience when I pursued my doctorate at the University of Exeter in the Department of Drama. During my graduation years, between 2011 and 2016, I met South Asian communities in Devon, Leicester, Corby, and London and interacted with many non-Dalits (including ‘Westerners’).
