Craniocerebral Trauma
摘要
Craniocerebral trauma (CCT) is a global problem and the largest healthcare burden. With the development of better healthcare systems and protocols, in western world, the outcome has improved recently. But, developing countries need to improvise and develop indigenous guidelines to suite their needs and infrastructure. The process of management of CCTs from event scene to the rehabilitation department involves a chain of intense processes. A weak link in this chain may spoil the results and defer the desired outcome. This chapter is an attempt to outline the important aspects of this vast topic and also the management of this silent pandemic, emphasizing each link of the process.
