Facial Trauma

Craniofacial trauma carries the significant potential for morbidity and mortality, mainly in young adults. Adult males are the most common victims of these injuries, and road traffic accidents were responsible for most cases. Facial trauma management requires pertinent documentation for better outcome. The mild facial injuries are managed conservatively, and open reduction and internal fixation with miniplates can be used for displaced and complex fractures. This chapter outlines the clinical feature and the management of facial trauma.
