Non-line-of-sight Collision Warning System
摘要
VEC has been envisioned as a promising paradigm for enabling a variety of emerging ITSs. However, due to inevitable yet non-negligible issues in wireless communication, including transmission latency and packet loss, it is still challenging in implementing safety-critical applications, such as real-time collision warning in vehicular networks. In this chapter, we present a non-line-of-sight (NLOS) collision warning system based on I2V communications. In particular, we build a hardware-in-the-loop testing platform and implement a NLOS collision warning system prototype in realistic environments. The on-site testing demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed system.
