Sparsity Sensed for Enhanced DOA Estimation

In this chapter, we investigate the DOA estimation by exploiting the sparsity sensed in the coarray domain using two types of sparse arrays, those are fully augmentable arrays and partially augmentable arrays. This enables estimation of more sources than the number of physical antennas.
