A Note on the Existence of Fixed Points for Rational Type Contraction Map on Orthogonal Metric Spaces

This research paper focuses on establishing the existence of fixed points for non-linear rational type contraction mappings in an orthogonal metric space. These inferences are contributed to an extension of the results obtained by Rao, Kalyani, and Gemechu, [7] titled “Fixed point theorems in partially ordered metric spaces with rational expressions.” The inference that we received is substantiated with some examples from this research. Bringing to limelight of the existence of fixed point in O-metric space is mandatory as it is more general metric space in literature.
