Comparative Analysis of Bit Flipping Decoders in BIKE PQC
摘要
This paper discusses the Bit Flipping decoders used in BIKE PQC in detail by observing the performance of Bit Flipping algorithms for smaller codewords of Low-Density Parity Check codes as well as Quasi-Cyclic codes by comparison based on number of iterations taken to perform the decoding. Low-Density Parity Check codes decoded with Bit Flipping algorithm show significant decoding failure whereas for a Quasi-Cyclic code, it is negligible. This paper also discusses the optimization ideas for the Black-Gray-Flip algorithm to save up memory and computational costs.
