An Analysis on Performance of Fuzzy Logic Controller in Automatic Voltage Controller Along with the Classical Controllers
摘要
Automatic voltage regulator (AVR) has a crucial part in maintaining voltage stability of the system by keeping the voltage constant at all times. Automatic voltage and generation regulation is needed especially in large interconnected system where manual regulation is more complicated. They have been used in power station for maintaining the voltage in an equilibrium condition. Automatic voltage regulator is used in the system to stabilize the voltage or to regulate the voltage which causes voltage fluctuation; if there is variation in the load and in the voltage, then it can damage the components. In this paper, we have attempted to show the regulation of automatic voltage correction device (i.e., AVR) by using proportional–integral (PI) controller and proportional–integral–derivative (PID) controller. We have also implemented fuzzy logic controller (FLC) and compared the results among the three.
