Contextualization of Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration
摘要
This chapter envisions the definition and actual application of rehabilitation. This is done as both a concept and a process, in light of other related conceptions known in the substantial literature on Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (DDR). These concepts have also been described in the context of Swat Valley, emphasizing the importance of distinguishing between rehabilitation and reintegration. The chapter also conceptualizes Swat society as a closed one in which rehabilitation institutions have been discovered as “closed society.”
