Construction of Knowledge Graph Based on Design Thinking Cultivation

摘要

Design and innovation are themes of our time, given the rapid changes in the digital information age. Consequently, the integration of design thinking as a higher order thinking skill into the curriculum is essential for the development of innovative talent in China. However, in basic education classrooms, teachers currently lack the application of design thoughts to enhance students’ skills. In this paper, we aim to use the high school IT curriculum as a case study to establish a multimodal algorithmic base knowledge graph. This knowledge graph will incorporate various types of entities and integrate teaching activities and student activities as entities. Additionally, we will adopt the EDIPT design thinking development concept throughout the teaching process and propose its application in the classroom setting. This approach facilitates students’ learning while promoting the development of design thinking. Ultimately, it offers new methods and suggestions for teachers’ pre-course preparation.
