Systems Biology and Human Diseases
摘要
Systems biology is concerned with the analysis and modelling of complex biological systems using computational and mathematical tools. This deals with the mechanism of functioning and signalling of metabolic networks. It helps to decipher the transcription and translation products that are involved in the regulation of any physiological response. The process includes data mining analysis, networking modelling and experimental validation for understanding and providing possible solutions to diseases by studying human physiology with detailed knowledge on the mode of action. This would be of immense significance in determining suitable drug targets and developing of effective therapies against various diseases associated with human and understanding the disease mechanism collaborated with drug target identification and development associated with systems biology. Among the several diseases and disorders, we would like to highlight and conceive an affirmative notion that forms the framework linking system biology with colorectal cancer.
