Complex Disease Prediction Using Systems Biology Approach
摘要
Imagine a mirror maze this complex breakthrough can be analogous to what many researchers face when trying to decipher the intricacy and uncertainties of biological systems as well as genetics linked to the ‘complexity of human diseases’. Recent innovations in sequencing are characterised by humongous amounts of data from contrasting sources, creating demand for the development of novel tools to extract biologically meaningful data. The starkness of genomic and biomedical data associated with complex diseases creates a new challenge to understand the interconnection between genes and proteins, which therefore requires the integration of data from a wide range of protein structures to decipher the complexity of diseases. Thus, computational tools have become critical for the integration, representation, and visualisation of heterogeneous biological data.
