摘要

Skin cancer is a condition that affects the skin, and it can manifest in either a malignant or benign form. Malignant melanoma is characterized by the presence of spots that may bleed, while malignant carcinoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer and is named after the cell from which it is believed to arise, the melanocyte. However, skin cancer can be cured if it is diagnosed at the right time. The diagnosis of melanoma is delicate and requires both a physical examination and laboratory tests, as it can spread throughout the body via the lymphatic system or blood. Unfortunately, laboratory testing often leads to inflammation or the spread of the lesion, which is why less dangerous and time-consuming methods are needed. Computer-based diagnosis can improve the speed and accuracy of skin cancer diagnosis by analyzing the symptoms of the condition. The common things between skin lesions make the diagnosis of malignant cells a challenging task. While there are several traditional methods available to detect skin cancer, early detection is always preferable. The medical community generally uses the biopsy system to diagnose skin cancer, which involves removing skin samples and subjecting them to various laboratory tests. However, this method is both painful and time-consuming. Therefore, the aim is to develop a computer-assisted diagnosis system for skin cancer, which would be safer and less time-consuming.
