Tooth Sensitivity Device—Detection and Diagnosing of Sensitivity in the Dental Pulp
摘要
Sensitive teeth are typically worn tooth enamel or exposed tooth roots. The main affected part in the teeth that is prone to sensitivity is a pulp which assigns the signals from the dentin to the brain. Pulp is a soft-core tissue in nature that has an entirely large network of nerves and blood vessels. Sensitivity in teeth occurs when the enamel is degraded and the inner layer of dentine is exposed to hot or cold or sweet food items, which eventually results in severe pain. So, the sensitivity of the tooth can be detected based on the principle of thermodynamics by applying both hot and cold stimuli in the same probe by inducing the electrical power supply. Here the MEMS sensor, temperature sensor, Raspberry Pi Picco nally the GSM communications are used for the determination of the accuracy of the tooth sensitivity. By using the IOT and the GSM technology the outcome of the device is perceived through the messenger in the mobile for further discussion among the dentists. It is used to categorize dental diseases such as periodontitis, dental caries, and infection. Hence to improvise the accuracy of detecting tooth sensitivity in a digital way a device can be introduced scientifically using hot and cold stimuli to the center of the teeth and detect the teeth sensitivity by applying any two types of stimuli to it as it can convert it to a digital form and predict the sensitivity accuracy.
