摘要

In the wire drawing industry, it is essential to optimize production processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime. We propose a system for real-time monitoring of breakdowns in the wire drawing industry and the analysis of their causes. This system will provide a comprehensive overview of the production process, including the real-time OEE data (Li et al. in 2022 IEEE 20th international conference on industrial informatics (INDIN), Perth, Australia, pp 729–734, 2022; bin Ngadiman et al. in IC on global optimization and its applications, 2013), reasons for each breakdown, repetition of breakdowns, total downtime, total production, and waste. By analyzing the data collected through this system, we can identify patterns and trends that may be contributing to the repetitions of breakdowns and work to eliminate these causes (Saez et al. in IEEE Trans Autom Sci Eng 15(4):1735–1748). The implementation of this system has the potential to significantly improve the efficiency and productivity of the wire drawing industry, leading to increased profitability and competitiveness in the market (Li et al. in 2022 IEEE 20th International Conference on Industrial Informatics (INDIN), Perth, Australia, pp 729–734, 2022). We will present the current scenario of the wire drawing industry and discuss the potential outcomes and benefits of implementing this real-time monitoring system (Hedman et al. in Proc Cirp 57:128–133, 2016). We will also outline the necessary requirements for successful implementation and provide a detailed analysis of the results achieved through the use of this system.
