摘要

High blood pressure (HBP) is one of the most concerning health issues today. A person’s blood pressure (BP) may rise as a result of changes in several factors, including age, obesity, cholesterol level, and stress level. Though HBP is very common, a constant and consistent rise in BP has a long-term impact on many organs of the human body. HBP, also known as hypertension, is a major source of pain for many people all over the world. The main concern about HBP is that most people who suffer from it are unaware of it. Keeping this in mind, HBP can be considered one of humanity’s silent killers. The diagnosis of HBP is difficult for the individual due to its silent symptoms. HBP, also known as hypertension, is diagnosed when the systolic and diastolic blood pressures exceed 140 mm Hg and 90 mm Hg, respectively. Hypertensive patients eventually develop a variety of symptoms such as heart attack, kidney failure, brain stroke, and sexual dysfunction, so on. This paper discusses the various factors that affect blood pressure and their effects on the human body. The goal is to raise awareness about the various factors that influence blood pressure so that everyone can use these factors to prevent blood pressure rather than taking blood pressure medications.
