A Smart Solution for Safe and Efficient Traffic Flow for Bridge

摘要

Due to the worldwide increase of bridges and the requirement for effective and trustworthy bridge management, IoT is becoming more and more essential. The IoT and sensor-based system integration of the smart bridge system provide a host of advantages. The combination of sensors and IoT technologies enables real-time monitoring and automated response to shifting conditions, increasing the bridge's overall safety and effectiveness. To take proactive action before any problems emerge, the system can also generate predictive maintenance notifications. In this study, we employ servo motors and soil moisture sensors to pull up the bridge above when the water level reaches a predetermined limit, piezoelectric plates to emit light, IR sensors to keep track of the number of vehicles, and a GSM module to send alerts.
