Research on the Detection Method of Sybil Attacks on Wireless Terminals in Power Internet of Things

As a key technology for achieving comprehensive coordinated control of new power systems, Wireless Sensor Network is widely used in the perception layer of power Internet of Things. Sybil attack, as a complex form of attack, severely disrupts the positioning, routing, and data transmission functions of Wireless Sensor Networks. This paper proposes a Sybil attack detection scheme based on the Received Signal Strength Indicator. It utilizes special detection nodes in the network to detect Sybil attack nodes. Additionally, a routing strategy based on trust threshold is proposed. Simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively detect and eliminate the adverse effects of Sybil attacks on network positioning and routing.
