Compared to traditional laparoscopic surgery, the Da Vinci surgical robot has clearer imaging, a larger movement angle of the robotic arm, and more flexible operational capabilities. At the same time, the Da Vinci robotic surgical system can also filter physiological vibrations, making surgery more precise [1]. Research by Desiderio et al. shows that robotic surgery is safe and feasible to remove GIST [2]. Therefore, the Da Vinci surgical robot is reliable for GIST surgery.
