Basic Concepts
摘要
This chapter provides an understanding on basics of solar and wind technologies; capacity utilization factor; deriving energy equivalent values in MToE terms; formulae to determine time value of money, weighted average cost of capital and LCOE; concept of GWP, energy and emission intensity, comparative emission values of coal and gas power plants, relevance of carbon credits; project development models; sources of capital. A number of examples have been provided to explain the concepts in detail.
