A Secure Mutual Authentication Scheme for Wireless Communication

摘要

With the rapid development of network technology, the number of mobile devices is increasing at a phenomenal speed. However, many wireless communications are established on public wireless networks, which makes it a challenge to ensure the message confidentiality and user privacy. Besides, mobile devices usually have limited resources. It is necessary to design a secure and efficient cryptographic scheme for wireless communication. In this paper, we propose an identity-based mutual authentication scheme for resource-constrained mobile devices. With the help of random oracle model, we show that the scheme is provably secure under extended Canetti-Krawczyk (eCK) security model. Finally, through comparative experiments with six related works, we demonstrate that the proposed scheme is the most suitable for resource-constrained mobile devices in wireless communications.
