摘要

With the development of urbanization, subway vehicles often operate on dedicated tracks, and the wheels experience wear characteristics that correspond to the track conditions. Therefore, to ensure the operational safety of subway trains, it is crucial to consider the comprehensive wear forms of the wheels. This study combines experimental testing and numerical simulation to investigate the impact of complex wear forms comprising wheel profile wear and polygon wear on the dynamic response of vehicles. The results indicate that during the operation of the vehicles, there is a coupled interaction between profile wear and polygon wear. The presence of profile wear causes a phase shift in the wheel-rail interaction forces, contact patch area, and creep forces, and the phase shift is proportional to the degree of wheel wear. Furthermore, it is crucial to note that both the range and depth of profile wear can alter the influence of the wheel polygon on the magnitude of vehicle performance indicators. Therefore, when studying the wear mechanism of the wheel and formulating wheel reprofiling plans, it is crucial to comprehensively consider both longitudinal and lateral wear of the wheel to ensure the accuracy of the research results.
