Characteristics of Interturn Short Circuit Fault in Three Phase Transformers

Transformer inter turn short circuit affects the stable operation of the power system, may cause transformer damage and bring significant economic losses. Therefore, this article first analyzes the inter turn short-circuit current characteristics and temperature field distribution of transformers from a theoretical perspective; Secondly, a multi physical field simulation model for transformer inter turn short circuit was built based on COMSOL, and the randomness of transformer inter turn faults was simulated under different conditions; Finally, a transformer winding inter turn short circuit experimental platform was built to verify the effectiveness and correctness of the simulation model and the conclusions obtained.
