Electromagnetic Influence of Linear Eddy Current Braking on Track Circuit

Linear eddy current braking is a kind of non-adhesive braking, which has the advantages of no pollution, low noise and stable braking force. It is more suitable for high-speed train braking. However, Linear Eddy Current Brake (LECB) will produce electromagnetic radiation around when it works, which may cause electromagnetic interference to the TCR induction coil of the track circuit and affect its normal operation. Therefore, in order to analyze the electromagnetic compatibility of LECB and track circuit, this paper uses Maxwell software to construct a joint simulation model based on the two, and analyzes the influence of LECB system on track circuit signal transmission through joint simulation.
