Speed Balance Control of the Dual-Motor System Based on Three-Vector Model Prediction

摘要

In recent years, dual-motor drive systems have been widely applied in various fields, including rail transportation and industrial production. The control of dual-motor drive systems has become a key research topic, with the focus on determining the most effective control method. In the past, magnetic field orientation control or direct torque control methods were commonly used for driving dual-motor systems. However, with the significant improvement in microprocessor chip performance, more complex and precise algorithms have emerged, such as model predictive control. Therefore, this paper compared the Three-Vector Model Predictive Current Control (TV-MPCC) with a similar framework as the Field-Oriented Control (FOC) algorithm but with different principles. The simulation experiments were conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of TV-MPCC in improving the control accuracy and coordination of the dual-motor drive system.
