Topology Design of High-Frequency DC Auxiliary Converter for Electric Multiple Units

With the rapid development of power electronic technology and the commercialization of high-voltage and high-power semiconductor materials, rail transit field has experienced significant advancements. Auxiliary power supply system plays a crucial role in rail vehicles due to the prospect of high-frequency, lightweight and miniaturization. In recent years, DC power system has gained considerable attention and development due to its inherent advantages such as high efficiency, the absence of reactive power and harmonic issues. With the development of DC power distribution and DC electrical equipment, it is expected that DC power will become increasingly prevalent in rail transit field. This paper proposes a forward-looking topology for a DC auxiliary power supply system for rolling stock and conducts research on topology design which focus on aspects of lightweight design, miniaturization, and reliability.
