A New DC Auxiliary Power Supply System Architecture Designed for Electric Multiple Units

摘要

In recent years, the main form of power consumption of electric multiple units (EMU) on-board equipment is undergoing rapid transformation, with the proportion of DC and terminal DC loads gradually increasing (such as inverter air conditioners, speed-controlled fans), and there is a trend to replace the main position of traditional AC loads. At the same time, the third generation of semiconductor devices represented by silicon carbide devices is maturing, the penetration rate is increasing, and the auxiliary power supply for EMU represented by frequency isolation and medium frequency isolation “straight - AC” type auxiliary power supply system has been completely power electronic. In addition, other DC industrial fields are also developing vigorously, fully equipped with the technical basis for further DC conversion of the system as a whole. This paper proposes a new DC auxiliary power supply system architecture for EMU. By referring to the system architecture of the DC distribution network and combining it with the world application cases and related standards, this paper puts forward rationalization and suggestions on the system architecture and voltage level of the new DC auxiliary power supply system for EMU.
