Power Integration and Energy Management Strategy of CJ5 Hybrid EMU
摘要
The CJ5 hybrid EMU is produced by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd, and is a new type of EMU with multiple power sources independently developed by China. The EMU can not only meet the needs of cross-line operation between electrified and non-electrified railways, but also has a series of functions such as all-electric braking recovery, emergency traction for power failure, and non-reduction in excessive phases, which can simplify the catenary wiring of the EMU and realize Station-section shunting is environmentally friendly and has broad application prospects. This paper firstly introduces the CJ5 hybrid EMU platform and its derivative models. According to the selection and combination of the three power sources of catenary, power battery and internal combustion power pack (including diesel engine and permanent magnet generator), it has different functional characteristics and application advantages. An energy management control approach for hybrid EMU using droop control is proposed to realize instantaneous power distribution among various power sources. This strategy depends on the integrated model of hybrid EMUs. The service life of the power batteries can be increased, the fuel consumption of the train can be decreased, and the effectiveness of the hybrid system can be increased by continual iterative optimization of energy management control systems.
