Lattice Boltzmann Simulation of Solute Transport in Fractures

The lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) has gained considerable popularity in recent years. A number of complex fluid flow problems, including single- and multi-phase flow in complex geometries, can be computationally modeled using the LBM, which is a potent technique. Based on LBM, the purpose of this chapter is to examine how a rough fracture wall affects the solute transport in a single fracture.
