Investigation and Evaluation on Environmental Quality of Marine Sediment in Caofeidian Coastal Waters
摘要
In order to evaluate the quality of marine sediment in the Bohai Sea, this paper investigated and evaluated the sediment quality in the coastal waters of Caofeidian. According to the investigation results in September 2019, the grain size analyses for sediments shows that the proportion of clayey silt is 58.6% in this investigation, which is the main sediment type in the coastal waters of Caofeidian. Applying Hakanson’s single factor index method to evaluate the pollution status of sediments. The evaluation factors are mercury, copper, lead, cadmium, zinc, chromium, arsenic, petroleum, sulfide and organic carbon. The evaluation standard index for each factor of sediment is less than 1 at all stations. Comparative analysis results show that the content of petroleum and copper in the sediment of the investigated sea area has slightly decreased in recent years, while the content of other pollutants is relatively low. The environmental quality of sediment is good in the coastal waters of Caofeidian.
