On the Active and Passive Engineering Prevention and Control Methods for Groundwater Inrush in Coal Mines

摘要

This paper presents and discusses the state-of-the-art of the passive and active engineering prevention and control methods for groundwater inrush in Chinese coal mines. The passive method means that a safety coal and rock pillar with a certain size is left for preventing groundwater inrush, while the active method stands for active geological engineering projects, such as grouting and depressurization taken before mining for ensuring the safety of mining. A dynamic evaluation model of the risk of floor water inrush was established to improve the dynamic variable weight-uncertain measurement theory, and the risk level of floor water inrush at different mining stages was obtained for passive and active prevention and control methods, meaning before and after grouting here. It is concluded that geological conditions and disaster mechanism research are the most important fundamental work in reducing the occurrence of serious groundwater accidents.
