Temperature Response Analysis of Rockburst Activity in Tunnel

To investigate the relationship between the active degree of stress adjustment in the tunnel face and the on-site temperature, based on the construction of Daxiagu Tunnel of Ehan Expressway, the response of tunnel face stability under temperature conditions was studied by monitoring the temperature and rockburst events of the tunnel face in the construction section. The results show that: the tunnel left and right line rockburst events usually occur in the ambient temperature and tunnel face temperature adjustment of the larger number of days, and usually occurs in the tunnel face temperature adjustment after the rising stage; Secondly, by longitudinally comparing the ambient temperature and tunnel face temperature during the active days of tunnel face stress adjustment, it is concluded that the ambient temperature and tunnel face temperature are usually close to each other when strong rockburst or severe rockburst occurs. The research results can help to predict the occurrence of rockburst in deep buried tunnels based on the easily available temperature data in the field, and provide a new idea for the prediction of rockburst in tunnel construction.
