摘要

In this paper, using the example of a recultivated MSW landfill, an attempt was made to justify the importance of focusing engineering and environmental surveys on obtaining data to assess the existing hydrogeochemical situation and forecast its changes in order to justify recultivation measures and monitoring programs in the post-recultivation period. The MSW landfill “Dubna” in the Moscow region was chosen as the object of research. The results of studying the chemistry and contamination of the leachate, and groundwater at the site of the landfill location are presented. An approach to assessing the state of the landfill body and groundwater in conditions of information scarcity is considered. Based on the obtained field and calculated data, the stages of decomposition of the landfill body at the time of the study were determined: in some sites—the stage of acetogenesis, in others—the stage of active methanogenesis, also the features of the behavior of chloride ion, heavy metals and nitrogen compounds in groundwater were analyzed. The results of the assessment of the condition of the landfill body and groundwater clearly showed the need to determine a more complete and representative list of indicators and components for a reliable representation of the current situation on the territory of the location of MSW landfills.
