Review on the Air Pollutant Emissions and Prevention Countermeasures in Typical Coking Industries in the North Slope of TianShan Economic Zone of Xinjiang

摘要

The production mode of typical coking industry belonging to Xinjiang TianShan North Slope Economic Zone mainly uses coking coal as fuel or as raw material. The production process is accompanied by a range of organised and unorganised gas emissions, which contain a certain amount of combustible soot and some toxic combustible liquid fumes, including SO2, NOx, PM and VOCs, etc., and these pollutants directly or indirectly deteriorate and affect the air quality of the coking plant region and the surrounding area. Accordingly, the production status, pollutant emissions and related management measures of coking chemical industry enterprises in Xinjiang TianShan North Slope Economic Zone are analysed, with a focus on benchmarking and analysis of environmental protection concepts, advanced technologies and pollution management practices of typical domestic enterprises in coal coking, and guiding suggestions and optimization and improvement measures are put forward for source management, exhaust gas treatment, by-products and waste treatment of relevant typical enterprises in Xinjiang, in order to provide a better solution to the problem. It provides a theoretical basis for the typical coking industry in the North Slope of TianShan Economic Zone of Xinjiang to strengthen effective scientific management, guide the extension of industrial chain to achieve product diversification and improve added value of products, and promote the green, sustainable and high-quality development of the coking industry in Xinjiang.
