A Comprehensive Landslide Hazard Assessment Around Transmission Lines After the 2022 Ms6.8 Luding Earthquake, China

摘要

The transmission lines guarantee the power supply and coordinate emergency response and have been essential to disaster resilience and recovery after earthquakes. In this paper, a comprehensive seismic Landslide Hazard Assessment (LHA) around the transmission tower after the Luding earthquake was performed. Luding County was selected as the study area. Firstly, the deformation map was generated by differential InSAR (D-InSAR) using Sentinel-1A satellite images; then, the Channel-Expanded pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network (CP-CNN) that combined Random Forest (RF) was used to obtain the seismic LHA zoning map, while the importance of static conditioning factors was calculated and ranked; finally, the comprehensive LHA results around the transmission lines were obtained by the overlay analysis. The results showed that by involving deformation into LHA, the areas of high-hazard-prone after the Luding earthquake had been highlighted. Almost all transmission towers were under medium to high risk after the earthquake. The number of transmission towers in high and very high-hazard-prone areas was 326, more than 70% of the total. The results can provide information and advice for priority power rescue, disaster prevention, and mitigation.
