Modulation of Surface Properties of Epoxy Resin by Plasma Modification

摘要

The formation and development of surface flashover discharge phenomena in insulating materials are closely related to their surface conductivity and surface charge characteristics. By regulating the physical and chemical properties of the material surface, its surface electrical parameters can be effectively improved to achieve the suppression of surface flashover. The development of plasma technology provides a simple, efficient, economical and environmentally friendly means to control the surface properties of insulating materials. With the help of high-energy particles generated by the plasma discharge process, the surface of the insulating material can be modified by physical etching and chemical graft modification, effectively regulating the surface properties of the material. This chapter focuses on the development status of plasma technology, and details the platforms and experimental methods for plasma modification such as sub-atmospheric pressure glow discharge, dielectric barrier discharge, and jet discharge. The method of depositing silicon, fluorine and other elements on the surface of insulating materials using plasma surface treatment technology and its influence on the insulation properties of the material surface were studied. The contents of this chapter provide theoretical and technical support for promoting the application of plasma surface treatment technology in the field of insulation material modification.
