Performance Enhancement of Near-Field MIMO Communication Link with a Matching Network at 5.6 GHz
摘要
Impedance matching is essential in improving the performance of multiple input multiple outputs (MIMO) systems. In this work, an impedance-matching network is proposed at 5.6 GHz to enhance the coupling between the transmitter and receiver of a near-field MIMO network. A scattering parameter-based performance comparison is done to weigh the impact of introducing a matching network. An improvement of 10.7 dB in \(S_{14}\) and 5.3 dB in \(S_{13}\) is observed indicating improved coupling between transmitter and receiver.
